Jim Sirianni - It's ALL About ME!

Jim Sirianni is the resident Theatre Geek at News Talk AM 990 KTMS in Santa Barbara. He started at KTMS in 1999 as a part time producer. Currently, he produces and hosts his own entertainment show, A Round of Applause for KTMS – every Saturday at 5 PM. www.ktms.com He also anchors the news on KTMS and AM 1490 (www.sbprogressivetalk.com ) and provides Traffic and Weather updates on KTMS. Jim also fills in as news reporter for 99.9 KTYD, and K-LITE 101.7. (www.ktyd.com and www.klite.com ) He also assists with production for several other stations with Rincon Broadcasting LLC. On the side, Jim dabbles in the performing arts, directing and acting in several plays for Circle Bar B Dinner Theatre. (www.circlebarbtheatre.com)
Jim got his start in theatre by playing the role of Frosty the Snowman in the 2nd grade, shouting his first line ever – “Let’s Run!” And the rest as they say is history. Most recently Jim appeared in CBB’s The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940. He has directed Don’t Mention My Name, A.R. Gurney’s The Dining Room, Jake’s Women, Marriage is Murder, The Dinner Party, and Key For Two. He has been seen on the CBB stage in Relative Values, The Murder Room, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown (as Linus), and Move Over Mrs. Markham. His favorite role to date was playing Elwood P. Dowd in Harvey. Other Santa Barbara performances include Amadeus, Sweeney Todd, Pacific Overtures, Look Homeward Angel and A Midsummer's Night Dream.
